Troop Meetings
Troop 49 meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. during the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school year.
During the summer months, however, the scouting action continues until 9:00.
To make it to the home of Troop 49, just follow these easy directions:
- Head away from uptown Charlotte and toward Harrisburg on Highway 49.
- Pass the Town Center
Plaza on your right,
UNC-Charlotte campus
on your left, and Tipsey's on your right.
- Immediately after passing Tipsey's, turn right on Back Creek Church Road at the next stoplight. You'll cross a set of railroad tracks.
- See that old church on the left? That's where we meet. Park your car and walk down the side of the church facing Back Creek Church Road until you see a door with a fleur-de-lis over it.
- Pass through the door and descend the stairs to your right.
- Smile! Welcome to Scouting at it's best!
