In the Order of the Arrow, you are considered a youth until the age of 21. This year we had 3 youth and 4 adults attend the Section SR-5 Dixie Fellowship. Marcus Douthitt, Jeremy Dulin, and Colby Torrence were the youth. Max Cooper, Barry Douthitt, Darel Torrence, and Chip Wampler were the adults. Jeremy and Colby helped the lodge achieve 2nd place in the Quest for the Golden Arrow by participating in the bow and arrow, the rope throwing, the knot tying relay, and other competitions. Colby Torrence won 2nd place in the rope throwing competition. Marcus Douthitt competed in his 6th Dixie Fellowship in the Grass Dance Parade of Braves competition and the Grass Dancing competition. Marcus’ 600+ hours of work on his regalia paid off… he received almost a perfect score and won first place in the Parade of Braves. Congratulations!
